Hydrophobic Many single drops of water on a high-performance glasses can quickly impair your vision. The name literally means “fear of water” in Greek, and Harley-Davidson Eyewear’s “hydrophobic” lens coating helps to deter water molecules from rain and sweat. With a 20–30 nanometer thick transparent layer of titanium dioxide on the outer surface of the lens, this anti-friction coating ensures that water molecules adhere to each other and fall off more easily. This adjustable belt is ideal for wearers of an open helmet and keeps your frame secure in strong wind, high speed or unpredictable driving conditions.
